King Dental Arts has been at the forefront of dental innovation, specializing in the creation of custom crowns and dental cosmetics. The foundation of this expertise was established through training at Atlanta Technical College’s ADA Accredited Dental Lab Program. Graduating from the program provided essential skills and knowledge for a career dedicated to dental craftsmanship.

Early in this journey, expertise was honed during a residency at Fort MacPherson Army Dental Lab in Atlanta, while simultaneously gaining hands-on experience working part-time in a dental lab.

Subsequent experience included serving as an in-house technician for a prominent dental office in Atlanta, collaborating with a team of three dentists. This role fostered a deep understanding of the intricacies of dental technology and its integration within clinical practice.

In January 1975, King Crown and Bridge was established in Atlanta, GA. This pivotal step marked the beginning of a legacy in dental craftsmanship. In 1986, the lab relocated to St. Simons Island, and in 2007, it was rebranded as King Dental Arts, reflecting an ongoing commitment to advancing dental techniques and practices.

Dedication to continuous learning and professional development has been a cornerstone of King Dental Arts’ success. Opportunities for continuing education have included attending courses at prestigious institutions such as The Hinman Meeting and programs hosted at Jelenko and Vita Corporate Offices in the Atlanta area.

A significant milestone occurred in 1980 with the attendance of the first course led by Dr. Pete Dawson in St. Petersburg, FL. This experience marked the beginning of an in-depth exploration into occlusion and its critical role in dental reconstruction. Between 1980 and 1995, numerous courses with Dr. Dawson further deepened this expertise, enabling confidence in handling complex reconstruction cases.

Engagement with leading figures in dentistry, including Strupp/Brumm, has ensured that the team at King Dental Arts remains at the forefront of innovation. Prioritizing ongoing education allows the lab to stay abreast of cutting-edge techniques and advancements, delivering optimal solutions and superior dental care.

In recognition of expertise and leadership, King Dental Arts was honored with the title of Renfort Key Opinion Leader for the 2023/2024 year, awarded by Renfort Dental.
